YUVA Surrey

The YUVA service supports young people aged 11-18 who have used violence or abuse toward family members or intimate partners. Yuva offers our behavioural change programme that works to help young people identify their abusive behaviours and instead develop agency, responsibility, and healthy coping and communication patterns.

The Yuva service incorporates our whole family model of support to encourage change and safety in the family system. While working with young people, Yuva also works directly with the parent or carer, siblings, or partners who are impacted by the abuse to provide support to them throughout the duration of the intervention. This intervention may be delivered in the form of 1:1 work and/or group work.
